My name is Kanti Kumari, and today I am speaking not as a woman, but as a mother whose heart is breaking every single day.

My baby boy, Sarthak Chaudhary, is just 1 year old, and he is suffering from a hole in his heart (VSD).

When Sarthak was born, he looked perfectly normal. But as months passed, I started noticing that something wasn’t right.
He would get tired very quickly… he struggled to drink milk… his breathing would become heavy… and he spent many nights crying in pain.

We took him to the hospital, and that is when the doctors told us the truth,
Sarthak has a hole in his heart.
In that moment, my whole world collapsed.
No mother is ever prepared to hear something like this about her baby.

Today, Sarthak’s condition is critical.
Doctors have told us that he needs urgent heart surgery.
If the operation is delayed, his heart may start failing slowly.
Every day, I watch him becoming weaker… and it kills me from inside.

But we belong to a very poor family.
We struggle to arrange even our daily meals… affording such an expensive surgery is impossible for us.

My biggest fear is that I might lose my child not because treatment doesn’t exist, but because we cannot afford it.

As a mother, there is no pain greater than this.

That is why today, with folded hands, I am requesting you all:
Please help me save my baby.

He is only 1 year old.
He hasn’t even seen this world yet… and every day he is fighting for his life.
I cannot bear to see my baby suffer like this.
I don’t want him to lose this battle just because we are poor.
