I am Satyaprakash, a farmer from a small village, and I am writing this with a heavy heart, desperate for help to save my son Dhruv. My little boy, who is just 2.5 years old, has been diagnosed with acute leukemia, a rare and life-threatening form of blood cancer. As a father, it breaks me to see my once-lively and joyful child now battling unbearable pain and weakness.

Dhruv was like any other child his age—full of energy and always smiling. He loved running around our small courtyard, playing with his toy truck, and calling out to his mother to show him the birds flying in the sky. A few months ago, we noticed that he would tire easily, had frequent fevers, and bruises would appear on his skin without reason. We thought it was just weakness, but when we took him to the hospital, our entire world came crashing down.

The doctors confirmed that Dhruv has acute leukemia and needs urgent and intensive treatment, including chemotherapy and medications, to have a fighting chance at survival. As a farmer, I barely earn enough to feed my family. The cost of his treatment is something I can’t even imagine affording. I sold everything I could—our small cow, some tools I used for farming—but it wasn’t even enough to cover the first few days of tests and medications.

I look at Dhruv every day and feel helpless. His tiny hands clutch mine in pain, and his eyes silently ask me for comfort, but I can do nothing except pray. He doesn’t understand why he can’t play anymore or why he has to endure needles and tubes. His laughter has been replaced by tears, and my heart shatters a little more every time he cries out in pain.

I’m reaching out to you because I have no other way to save my son. As a father, I can’t let him go without trying everything I can. Dhruv is too young to understand the gravity of his condition, but I know there is hope if we can start his treatment immediately. I beg you to help me save my little boy.
